Coming Soon...

Hey Guys! Just thought I'd let you know that I would be posting some videos on my blog. The reason is, is that it is hard to explain without having a visual aid. I have had very little views and no followers, so I thought maybe videos would make things more helpful and easier for both of us. It you do stumble across this blog I would really appreciate it if you told your friends or followed my blog. So basically the news is that videos will be coming soon! So yay!!!

Mineral Makeup: Neutrogena Mineral Sheers loose powder foundation!

I know what you guys must be thinking: messy, cheap, powdery looking on skin. Let me tell you what! I love this! It is way faster than liquid foundation. You just buff it on with a foundation brush and TA-DA!!! This of course like many other of my reviews (which I haven't been doing often :(...) has pros and cons.

Pros:
It feels light weight, like you aren't even wearing it. When you open it up it has a little dish that covers the holes so that the makeup won't get everywhere. Instead of having thousands of holes all over, it has six or eight small ones in the corner so it won't make a gigantic mess! I really love this because for me it covers pretty well and is super quick.

Cons:
Okay now for the not so good. I have noticed that you may want a high quality powder foundation to cover up anyy discoloration. Not just redness, because it covers that, but i mean like hiper pigmentation? Yeah, that. This would be better with skin that doesn't have loads of blemishes. So it would be better for people that just want a clean even look and not phenomenal coverage.

For me it works great. My skin is pretty even and I don't have many blemishes. So this covers what I want evened out and not concealer like coverage. Which is okay, because I like the natural approach a little better for teens and young adults (13-20). I wouldn't recommend this for people who have hiper pigmentation or problems with acne because it won't and doesn't cover that kind of redness.
I wear the shade Classic Ivory and it looks natural and your skin can breathe when you wear it.

Fast Little Tricks

1) Line your cupids bow and lower lip with nude-like colors for a full lip effect.
2) Use hand cream to instantly ward off split ends.
3) When wearing dull colors, add a colorful statement piece to add excitment.(don't use more than one)
4) Carry a small spray bottle full of water to set makeup, fix hair, and hydrate skin.
5) Toothpaste can be super helpful when treating acne. Just remeber to moisturize afterward and use paste instead of gel toothpaste.

Those are five quick tips that I use too!

How To Make Brown Eyes Pop and the Whites of Your Eyes Look Extra White.

Green and Blue eyes tend to pop because of their color, but for us girls with brown eyes it's difficult for our eyes to get the same attention. This requires little makeup too!!!!

You can start off by lining your lower eye with a plum colored eyeliner. This looks more natural on brown eyes than brown eyeliner, believe it or not. Than you can use a dark or navy blue eyeshadow on your eyelids.(p.s. I only apply color over my lash line and slightly higher.) You can also press and smudge the blue over the plum eyeliner. You can do your basic lining and mascara afterward too, but this is generally all the makeup I wear. When your a teenager less is always more.

Volume And A Flat Iron Doesn't Mean Flat Hair. Boost Your Hair With An Easy Volume Trick!

Girls, this is what I do most days to get some volume action in my hair. It is super easy with the right tools.

I start off with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I don't towel dry my hair, so what i do is just squeeze and press my hair so help absorb excess water. Than I blow dry my hair upside down. This makes your hair cuticles stand up. So you are drying them in place. Come up every once in awhile to brush your hair than go back to drying. If you flat iron your hair like I do, but don't want that "flat" look, I suggest straightening your hair upside down too.
When you are done you can flip your hair up and style and fix parts that you missed. You can hairspray if you want, but I don't.
This requires the basic tools the typical girl has, so don't be afraid of a little volume. I wasn't and now everyone is mentioning how much more bounce my hair has because it isn't "flat" after straightening.

Maybelline Superstay Powergloss Review

So this product came out quite awhile ago, but not until recently did I get to try it for myself. This product claims to last and last for 12 long hours! Sounded like my type of color, but personally I prefer gloss to matte color. So that is why I  purchased the powergloss. Now, I am not saying this is a terrible product and I am not saying it is amazing. This has both pros and cons.

Pros
-Long lasting color in gorgeous shades.
-Glossy Finish

Cons
-Sticky, heavy texture.
-You have to wait 3 min. before applying gloss. (you have to wait for color to dry)

The color I have is in 103 Rhinestone Pink. This is a gorgeous color. With a few fixes this could be an amazing product. I use this for the awsome color but not for the texture. I do not think this is the gloss for anyone with a low-tolerance for the heavy, sticky feeling. Other than that I think this product is wearable.
